By SupperClub Editorial Team · Last updated:
How much is pool access in Abu Dhabi?
Pool day passes in Abu Dhabi range from about AED 50 at city hotels to AED 300 at beach resorts, and the best offers return the whole fee as food and drink credit. Aloft Abu Dhabi charges AED 50, fully redeemable, for members. Conrad Abu Dhabi charges AED 200 on weekdays with AED 200 to spend.

The number that matters: how much comes back
A pool pass in Abu Dhabi usually comes in one of three forms, and the difference matters more than the headline price.
If you plan to eat and drink at the pool anyway, a fully redeemable pass is effectively free entry. If you bring nothing and spend nothing, an entry-only pass at a lower price is the better deal.

When to go: Abu Dhabi’s pool seasons
- October to April (peak season): the best weather for a pool day, and the busiest weekends. Book ahead for Saturdays and public holidays, and arrive early for shaded loungers.
- May to September (summer): afternoon heat makes midday by the pool hard going. Resorts often release their strongest offers in these months to fill sunbeds. Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon, and choose pools with shade or indoor dining.
- Weekdays all year: the quietest days, and often the cheapest, as Conrad’s weekday pricing shows.
Pool parties for children
Several Abu Dhabi hotels now package a child’s birthday with the pool. Live offers include full kids’ birthday and pool party packages at Grand Millennium Al Wahda (AED 999), Vogo Hotel (AED 1,499), and Conrad and Al Raha Beach Hotel (AED 1,999 each). For more on birthdays, see our Abu Dhabi birthday guide.
Tips for a pool day in Abu Dhabi
- Spend the credit. Redeemable credit is use-it-or-lose-it, and usually can’t be refunded.
- Bring ID. Hotels may ask for an Emirates ID or passport at the pool.
- Check child rates. Children under five are usually free; ages 6 to 12 often pay half.
- Confirm on the day at weekends and public holidays, as hotels can stop selling passes when they’re full.
- Combine it. Several hotels sit near the Grand Mosque, the Louvre and the Corniche, so a morning visit and an afternoon swim fit in one day.
