Every Hotel Pool & Beach Day Pass in Abu Dhabi (2026 Guide)
What is a pool day pass in Abu Dhabi?
A pool day pass in Abu Dhabi is paid single-day entry to a hotel’s pool and, at most beachfront properties, its private beach. Passes typically include a lounger, towel service and a food and beverage credit that offsets part of the entry fee. Prices run from AED 50 to AED 450 per adult, with weekends costing AED 50 to AED 150 more than weekdays.

What you actually get for the money
There is a meaningful gap between an AED 50 city-hotel pool pass and an AED 400 beachfront resort pass, and it is not only about the pool.
Entry-level passes (AED 50–150) get you a lounger and a towel at a well-kept but usually rooftop or podium-level pool. The Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center sits at the bottom of the market at AED 50 on weekdays and AED 75 on weekends, with no F&B credit attached. Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Pearl runs AED 120 weekdays and AED 160 weekends, and unusually for this bracket, it includes beach access alongside the pool.
Mid-range passes (AED 150–250) almost always come with a redeemable credit, which changes the arithmetic considerably. Bayshore Beach Club on Yas Island charges AED 200 on weekdays that is fully redeemable on food and drinks, so the pass is effectively free if you were going to have lunch anyway. Kids aged 4–12 are AED 50, and 12–16-year-olds AED 75, making it one of the better family propositions in the capital.
Premium passes (AED 250–450) buy you a proper resort beach. Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers gives access to three pools and a 2,200-metre private beach, at AED 250 weekdays with AED 150 redeemable, rising to AED 350 with AED 200 redeemable at weekends. Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental sits at the top: AED 400 on weekdays, including AED 200 redeemable at Las Brisas and Cascades, and AED 450 at weekends, with children 4–15 at AED 200 including AED 100 in credit.
The credit is the number to watch. An AED 400 pass with an AED 200 back is cheaper in real terms than an AED 250 pass with nothing included, provided you were always going to eat.
Abu Dhabi’s pool scene, by area
Abu Dhabi’s day pass market clusters into four distinct settings, and the right one depends entirely on what kind of day you want.
The Corniche and West Corniche
The city’s most concentrated stretch of hotel pools, and the most convenient if you are staying downtown or driving in from Dubai for the day. Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Conrad Etihad Towers and Grand Hyatt all sit within a few minutes of each other on Corniche Road West Experience Abu Dhabi maintains a running list of Corniche pool passes if you want to check current availability before you drive over. Sheraton Abu Dhabi Resort holds the middle of the market at AED 150 Sunday to Thursday and AED 250, with AED 150 redeemable on Friday and Saturday.
The trade-off is that Corniche beaches are city beaches. The sand is groomed and the water is calm, but you are looking at the skyline, not the open Gulf.
Saadiyat Island
The best beaches in the emirate, full stop. Saadiyat’s sand is soft, the water is clear, and the stretch is protected. Hawksbill turtles nest here between March and June, which is why the resorts run tighter rules about where you can walk after dark.
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is the standout on price structure: its Pool and Beach Day Pass gives direct access to Saadiyat Beach with Beach House on hand for food, priced at AED 150 for ladies and AED 200 for gents on weekdays, jumping to AED 350 at weekend rates, confirmed by Yalla Abu Dhabi Life. The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort runs AED 250 per person or AED 450 per couple, with children under eight free, one of the few genuinely good couple’s rates in the city. SupperClub members also get an exclusive pool and beach day pass at nearby Saadiyat Rotana Resort with AED 300 in food and drinks credit.
Yas Island
The social option. W Abu Dhabi’s adults-only WET Deck sits on the roof above Yas Marina Circuit, and its sunchasers pass runs AED 150 per person fully redeemable, Monday to Saturday, midday to 8pm, per FACT Magazines. Expect music, cocktails and a crowd; this is not where you go to read a book. If that is the day you want, our guide to luxury beach clubs in Abu Dhabi covers the party end of the market in more detail.
Bayshore Beach Club is the family counterweight on the same island, combining a pool and private beach at AED 200 weekdays and AED 300 weekends.
Creek, desert and offshore
For something further from the crowd, Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri sits on Khor Al Maqta Creek looking across at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, offers a desert pool with a swim-up bar for AED 200. A genuinely different day out. Al Maya Island & Resort requires a 10-minute boat transfer and costs AED 200, which is the cheapest island escape available. Pool Day Pass tracks thirteen confirmed Abu Dhabi day pass programmes, including the harder-to-find offshore options.
Weekday versus weekend: the single biggest lever on price
Almost every property in Abu Dhabi charges less Monday to Thursday, and the gap is often large enough to change which hotel you can afford.
Park Hyatt Saadiyat is the sharpest example: AED 200 for a gents’ weekday pass against AED 350 at the weekend, a 75% increase. Conrad jumps AED 100. Sheraton jumps AED 100. Emirates Palace, notably, only moves AED 50, which makes its weekend rate comparatively good value at the top of the market.
Weekday passes also mean fewer people on the loungers. If your schedule allows a Tuesday, a Tuesday at an AED 400 resort will beat a Saturday at an AED 200 resort on almost every measure.
When to go
All passes are available year round, but Abu Dhabi’s heat peaks from June through September, making October to April the most comfortable window for an outdoor pool day.
That said, the summer months are when hotels compete hardest on price and when redeemable-credit offers are most generous. The market floods with promotions precisely because demand drops, as What’s On’s summer round-ups show each year. If you can tolerate 40°C and plan around a shaded cabana and a late-afternoon swim, June to August is when the value is.
November to March is peak season. Weekend passes at Saadiyat and the Corniche sell out, and walk-ins get turned away.
How a SupperClub membership changes the maths
This is where the numbers get interesting, and it is worth being specific rather than vague about it.
SupperClub is a membership platform that negotiates fixed discounts at five-star venues across the UAE. The relevant mechanic for pool days is Buy 1 Get 1 Free. One person pays, two people go in. Discounts apply to everyone in your booking, not just the member, and are applied discreetly at the venue rather than requiring a voucher.
Current Abu Dhabi pool and beach offers include:
- Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Buy 1 Get 1 Free pool and beach access, with AED 250 fully redeemable on food and beverages
- Riva Beach Club, Buy 1 Get 1 Free pool and beach day pass and main courses
- Erth Abu Dhabi, pool and beach day pass with 20% off food and drinks
- Saadiyat Rotana Resort, exclusive pool and beach day pass with AED 300 food and drinks credit
- Al Raha Beach Hotel, 25% off pool and beach day pass
- Aloft Abu Dhabi, full-day pool access at AED 50 instead of AED 100, fully redeemable on F&B
- Sofra, Shangri-La Abu Dhabi, Buy 1 Get 1 Free Saturday Gardens of Babylon brunch with pool and beach access
- St Regis Abu Dhabi, full-day pool and beach access with welcome drink, from AED 150
The full current list sits on the SupperClub Abu Dhabi pool and beach page, and there is a longer write-up of the best beach club offers in the capital if you want the venue-by-venue detail.
The worked example
Take a couple planning one weekend beach day per month.
Two weekend passes at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri at rack rate would cost roughly AED 500 for the pair. With Buy 1 Get 1 Free, you pay for one, and the AED 250 F&B credit covers lunch for both of you. Do that twice and you have covered a Gold membership, priced at AED 295 per year, several times over.
That is the honest case for a membership: it only makes sense if you use it more than twice. If you are visiting Abu Dhabi for a single weekend, buy the day pass direct. If you live here and go to a pool once a month, the arithmetic is not close.
Memberships come in three tiers: Gold, Diamond and Platinum, with unlimited bookings and unlimited guests across all of them; you can compare the tiers here. The Bliss membership is the pool-and-beach-focused option if dining discounts are not your priority.
Practical booking advice
Book ahead at the top end. Most hotels accept weekday walk-ins, but Emirates Palace and Nation Riviera are busy enough to warrant advance booking, particularly at weekends. Saadiyat resorts in peak season should be booked several days out.
Confirm the F&B credit terms. Credits are usually restricted to specific outlets; Emirates Palace’s AED 200 is redeemable at Las Brisas and Cascades, not anywhere on the property. Unused credit is not refunded.
Check the child policy separately. Some of the best-value adult passes are adults-only. W Abu Dhabi’s WET Deck does not admit children. Park Hyatt’s Saadiyat Pass has no published children’s rate at weekends.
Arrive early for loungers. Most properties do not reserve specific beds with the pass. Prime shaded positions go by 10am on weekends. Cabanas are almost always a separate paid upgrade.
Bring ID. Hotel security will check identification at the gate, and some properties require the booking name to match.
A dress code exists. Swimwear is for the pool and beach only. Cover up in lobbies and restaurants. Most Abu Dhabi properties are relaxed about this, but a few enforce it.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a pool day pass in Abu Dhabi?
Between AED 50 and AED 450 per adult. The cheapest is Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center at AED 50 on weekdays; the most expensive is Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental at AED 450 on weekends. Most mid-range passes at four- and five-star properties fall between AED 150 and AED 250.
Do Abu Dhabi day passes include food and drink?
Many include a redeemable credit rather than complimentary food. Conrad Etihad Towers returns AED 150 on weekdays and AED 200 on weekends. Bayshore Beach Club’s AED 200 weekday pass is fully redeemable. Budget properties like Courtyard and Grand Hyatt typically include no credit.
Which Abu Dhabi hotel has the best beach for a day pass?
Saadiyat Island has the best natural beach in the emirate, with soft sand, clear water and protected turtle nesting grounds. Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi and The St Regis Saadiyat both sell direct beach access passes.
Can you get a pool day pass without staying at the hotel?
Yes. Day passes exist specifically for non-residents. You book directly with the hotel or through a membership platform, arrive, present ID, and get the same pool and beach access as overnight guests, usually within set hours.
Are day passes cheaper on weekdays in Abu Dhabi?
Almost always, and often substantially. Park Hyatt Saadiyat charges AED 200 for a weekday gents’ pass against AED 350 at the weekend. Sheraton and Conrad both add AED 100 for weekends.
What is the cheapest beach access in Abu Dhabi?
Al Raha Beach Hotel from AED 125 is the cheapest beachfront pass. Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi at AED 120 on weekdays includes both pool and beach and is marginally cheaper still.
Can I bring guests on a SupperClub membership?
Yes. Discounts apply to unlimited guests in the same booking, not only to the member.
Do children need their own pass?
Yes, at most properties, at a reduced rate. Emirates Palace charges AED 200 for ages 4–15, including AED 100 in credit. Bayshore charges AED 50 for ages 4–12. Children under six are free at several properties, including Aloft, and under-eights are free at The St Regis Saadiyat.
